Please note that these are the CLASSIC PLAYING CARDS, not the more common fortune telling cards. The pack consists of 78 cards divided into the traditional suits of hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades with number cards 1 to 10 plus four picture cards: Valet (Knave or Jack), Chevalier (Cavalier/Knight), Dame (Queen) and Roi (King). In addition to the suits there are an additional 21 non suit picture cards (Trumps) plus the Fou (Minstrel/Fool/Joker).
This pack is the traditional French/Belgian one and is approved by the "Federation Française de Tarot" and includes their official Certificate with a brief history plus regulations and basic rules. There are many different Tarot games for two to five players and most of them are easy to learn within a few minutes, although some are considered more challenging than bridge. There are also many Patience games. Many other games can be learned from the internet.
The cards are larger than normal playing cards and measure 112mm x 62mm. Please note that these are NOT cheap and flimsy far eastern imports, they are very decorative and highly glazed; manufactured by the world famous Cartamundi company who have been producing quality playing cards in Belgium since 1765.
I bought several packs of these cards in France, one for myself and others to give away as presents but have a few brand new packs left over at £9 each. PayPal accepted. Can send by.
